COS Magazine AW16

COS collaborates with Fantastic Man biannually to create a printed publication that showcases the collection and features interviews with industry leading creatives.

The brief was to translate and reflect the tactile nature of the printed magazine in digital format and render the magazine in a rich, interactive editorial experience. By focusing on playful card-based interactions, we were able to keep the feeling of materiality whilst allowing the user to consume content without the repetition of a traditional printed piece.

COS × Serpentine

Each year during summer the Serpentine Gallery commissions an international architect to design a temporary pavilion located on the gallery’s front lawn.

COS collaborated with the gallery to create a microsite that showcases the numerous Park Night events in which visual artists, musicians and architects are invited to give insight into their working processes. We expanded on this idea and featured a retrospective focusing on the previous architects, along with an in-depth profile on Bjarke Ingels Group, the practice responsible for designing the 2016 structure.

Sørnsén

Sørnsén (now defunct) is a Copenhagen-based furniture manufacturer. I worked alongside their Creative Director to craft an identity and online presence that celebrated the Scandi aesthetic and pioneered good user experience.

The result was a visually rich and multi-faceted site that highlighted the range and reach of the contemporary collection. As a burgeoning brand, we wanted the online experience to emphasise the handmade quality of the products, while enticing and introducing the customer into the Sørnsén universe through immersive editorial content.

Dunhill

A complete redesign of Dunhill’s online presence. We seamlessly merged shop and editorial content together, creating a unique online experience whilst maintaining the brand’s core ethos and heritage.

Working closely with Dunhill from concept to completion, we were able to adopt an agile approach to ensure that changes could be made quickly and easily, resulting in a working process that benefitted both parties.

COS Magazine SS16

For the SS16 edition of the COS magazine, we investigated how the issue could be digitized in a way that could recreate and evolve the printed nature the physical magazine.

With certain aspects of the design borrowing from a solid print aesthetic, the site combines bold typography with playful colour effects and utilizes some modern CSS features to manipulate images.

Screen Editions

Screen Editions curates and publishes bi-weekly wallpaper that spans across design, architecture, interiors, art and photography.

Each edition can be downloaded and used as a desktop wallpaper and once an edition has expired it moves into a volumes archive. The project spawned from a lack of online resources in which to find tastefully curated wallpapers.
